If you have a tracking number but don't know the carrier, WhereParcel can auto-detect the carrier based on the tracking number format. Simply use the /v2/detect endpoint with your tracking number, and we'll identify the most likely carrier.
Does WhereParcel support all carriers in my country?
WhereParcel supports major carriers in 15+ countries. While we cover the most popular carriers in each region, some smaller local carriers may not yet be supported. You can request new carriers through our community board, and we typically add them within 6 hours.
How often is carrier tracking data updated?
Tracking data is fetched in real-time from each carrier when you make an API request. Results are cached briefly to improve performance. For automated updates, you can use webhooks to receive instant notifications whenever the tracking status changes.
Can I request a new carrier to be added?
Yes! Visit our community board and submit a carrier request. We prioritize requests based on demand and typically complete integration within 6 hours. You'll be notified when the carrier is available.
Do all carriers support real-time tracking?
Most major carriers provide real-time tracking updates. However, some smaller regional carriers may have delayed updates depending on their systems. WhereParcel normalizes all tracking data into a consistent format regardless of the carrier's native update frequency.
